Hunting for top quality Whitetail Deer Genetics?
Little Valley Ranch takes pride in our humane ranch environment. Our Whitetail Deer health and well being is very important to us.
We make daily efforts to provide a natural organic, healthy, and roomy
environment for our Northern Whitetail Deer.
Feeding Program:
Little Valley Ranch provides natural native and seeded forages
that are suitable for the climate and terrain in our area of North Dakota.
Our ranch has been certified organic since 1996. Our grain feed
supplement to the diet is also home grown and organic.
Culling Program:
We run Little Valley Ranch as a Ag based business. Our animals are
culled based on performance. That is where our harvest preserve is used
so certain animals, not quit meeting our breeding standard, will not enter the
breeding market.
Health Program:
We practice a regular worming program and vaccination as required
by law and local veterinary recommendations. Our animals are visually
monitored regularly for health and well being. Six years CWD status.
A.I. Program:
Currently Little Valley Ranch is practicing a strict A.I. breeding
program in effort to reach a genetic goal we have set for our current breeding
program. We are one of the first places in U.S.A. to practice Whitetail
Deer embryo flushing. Fall 2004 was an exciting success with our embryo
flushing program done right here on our ranch. We are looking forward to
more embryo flushing in yearly.
Future Program:
Our future efforts will be to continue to enhance our Trophy
Northern Whitetail Deer genetics. We are excited about our annual ranch
events including fawning, monitoring our young bucks and doe growth, and fall
breeding season for A.I. and embryo flushing.
